Sivan Watch & Mobile Point

You can find Sivan Watch & Mobile Point right in the Main Bazar of Sheoganj. We decided to do both watches and mobile phones because that is what everyone carries these days. If you walk through the Main Bazar, you know how it is—always people walking by and bikes honking. Our shop is a bit small, but we have enough room for our tools and a few display cases. We spend half the day fixing old analog watches and the other half trying to figure out why a smartphone won't charge. It is a strange mix of old and new technology. Sheoganj is a place where people still value their old things, so we get a lot of watches that have been passed down through families. They need a bit of oil and a good cleaning. Then someone walks in with a phone that fell in water. It keeps the day interesting for us. We don't use any fancy machines, just our hands and the basic tools we’ve had for years. Sometimes the shop feels a bit crowded when the evening rush starts in the bazar. We just keep working through the pile of repairs on the desk. It’s a good way to earn a living and stay connected with everyone in the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that most people know where to find us. We don't mind the noise of the market much anymore. It is just home. The tea shop next door keeps us caffeinated through the long afternoons.
