Rajasthan Mart

Started the shop in Baksawa Krishnapuri a while back. Usually, we open up around the same time every morning. There’s a lot of things on the shelves here. People come in looking for stuff for their homes or just general items you’d expect from a mart. The street outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it stays busy enough. We spend most of the day sorting out the stock and talking to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy and we have to spend the whole afternoon reorganizing the back area. It is just me and a couple of others keeping things running. Rajasthan Mart isn't a big fancy place, it’s just a regular store where we try to keep what people need in stock. We get deliveries every few days which keeps us on our toes. The neighborhood knows where we are, right here in the heart of the area. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high, then picks up again when people are heading home from work. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the books and handle the money. It's a lot of work, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of it all. Most days go by pretty fast because there is always something to unpack or a customer to help out with.
