Kashinath Builders Private Limited has been operating out of the Jhora Magra Complex on Goyali Road for some time. We are at number 71. Sirohi is a smaller place, so everyone kind of knows everyone else’s business. We do mostly local building work. It’s not a huge firm with hundreds of employees. We have a core group of workers who know what they’re doing. The office in the complex is usually full of blueprints and empty tea cups. We spend our days at various sites around the district. Building things in Sirohi is different than the big cities; you have to know the local suppliers and where to get the best stone. It’s a lot of manual labor. I don't sit in an air-conditioned office all day. I’m usually out there with the guys, making sure the measurements are right. Sometimes we make mistakes, like a window being slightly off, and we have to go back and fix it. We don’t pretend to be perfect. We just try to be reliable. If we say we’ll be there on Tuesday, we try our best to be there. The work is steady but hard. We don’t do any flashy advertising. Our reputation in the Jhora Magra area is what keeps us going. It’s just a practical, local building business run by people who live right here in the community.
