Global Hospital

Down here on Delwara Road, things move a bit differently than in the big cities. Our hospital is right along the road in Delwara, and it’s a place where we know many of the faces coming through the door. It’s not a massive glass building or anything like that. It’s just a solid place where people come when they aren't feeling well or if they’ve had a bit of an accident. We handle a mix of everything since there aren't many other places nearby. You might see someone coming in for a fever and someone else bringing in their grandfather for a checkup. The rooms are basic but clean. We spend a lot of time cleaning, actually. The dust from the road likes to find its way in. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so they know the shortcuts and the local news. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just open up in the morning, check the supplies, and wait for whoever needs us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch over to the generator, which is a bit noisy, but it works. Being on Delwara Road means we see people from all over the surrounding villages too. It is just a regular part of the community here. We do what we can with what we have and keep things running day by day. It's a quiet life until someone needs us, and then we get moving.
