Art Creations

Our place, Art Creations, is situated over at Kalyanji TPT, right across from the New Bus Stand on Mount Road. Because of the bus stand, it’s always a bit chaotic outside with people rushing to catch their rides and buses pulling in and out. It’s a dusty area, but it’s very lively. We have been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, we have our workspace where we deal with all the artistic things we make. It’s not a clean, white gallery style place. There are tools, bits of wood, paint, and scraps of material everywhere. That is just how we work. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just show people what we have when they walk in. Sometimes the office feels a bit dark because the building is older, but we have enough lights to see what we are doing. We work long hours, especially when there is a lot to get through. The guys who work here have been doing this for a long time. We talk about the news, drink tea, and keep our heads down. It’s a straightforward life. We aren't looking to change the world, we just want to keep making our items and selling them to people who need them.
