Shiv Shakti Foods

Shiv Shakti Foods is located in Village Kala Amb, right near National Highway 72 in the Sirmaur district. Because we are so close to the highway, there are always trucks and lorries rumbling past our front door. It is a bit of a dusty spot, but being near the main road makes it easier for our deliveries to get in and out. We have been working from this village location for a long time now. Most of the people who work here live just a short walk away. We do not have any fancy office furniture or air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a practical space where we handle the food products. The work is mostly manual and follows the same routine every morning. We start as soon as the sun comes up to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait around, but we just use that time to sit outside and chat. We do not spend money on big advertisements or colorful signs. Most people find us because they saw our building from the highway or someone in the village told them about us. It is a simple way of doing things, and we do not see a reason to change it. We just keep track of our bags and boxes and make sure everything is where it should be. It is honest work in a quiet part of the state.
