We are located in Makri Markand, which is part of the Sadar area in Bilaspur. You can find us at Ram Dass’s house. It’s just a regular building like any other on the street. We have been working here for a while now, focusing on the local families. Bilaspur is a nice place, but people still face a lot of daily struggles. We try to be there for them when things get difficult. It’s basically just neighbors helping neighbors. There isn’t a big board of directors or any corporate structure here. It’s just a handful of us who wanted to do something useful for the community. We talk to the people who live nearby and listen to what’s going on in their lives. Sometimes we help with food, or maybe someone needs help getting their kids ready for the new school year. We do what we can with whatever resources we have at the moment. Our workspace is usually full of donated items and stacks of papers, which can look a bit messy. We don't really care about that as long as the work gets done. The summers here in Himachal can get quite hot, but we keep our doors open. We know the local roads and the families who have lived here for generations. It’s our home, and we just want to see everyone doing a little bit better. We don't need any praise, we just show up and work.
