Murari Textiles is tucked away at H No 1 8 76 in Padmanagar. If you walked inside, you’d see stacks of fabric and rolls of cloth piled up almost to the ceiling. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We’ve been in the textile business for several years, and it started as just a small family thing. We don't have a big showroom with mannequins and bright lights. It’s more of a place where we get the work done and handle the bulk orders that come in. Most days we are busy measuring out meters of cloth or packing up bundles for delivery. Our clothes usually have bits of thread and lint on them by the end of the day, which is just part of the job. Padmanagar is a nice enough place to work, even if the lane gets a bit cramped when a delivery truck shows up. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our customers are people we have known for years or who heard about us from someone else. It’s a straightforward way of doing business, and it keeps us going. We aren't trying to be a fashion brand; we just provide the material that people need. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and moving heavy rolls, but it’s what we do here in Padmanagar.
