Srigadha Textiles Sircilla

We spend a lot of time here at Plot No 17 in the Textile Park. Sircilla is known for this kind of work, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Most days start early when the power comes on and the machines get going. It’s loud, but you get used to the rhythm of the looms. We handle different types of cloth depending on what the orders are for that month. Sometimes it’s cotton, other times it’s synthetic stuff. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and lint, no matter how much we sweep it. It’s a busy spot. Our workers live nearby and they know the machines inside out. If something breaks, someone usually knows how to tighten a bolt or fix a belt without making a big deal of it. We aren't a huge operation with fancy offices. Most of our space is just taken up by the stacks of finished fabric waiting to be loaded onto the trucks. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans running and just get on with the job. People come by to check on their orders or just to see what we are running that week. It’s just how things go here in the park. We focus on getting the yardage right and making sure the colors don't bleed too much before it leaves our gates.
