Kasarajan & Company is situated at 74A on Sathyamangalam Road in the Karungalpalayam area. This part of town is usually quite busy with trucks and buses moving along the main road. Our building is an older one, and it has that specific smell of old paper and dust that you find in long-standing businesses. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a few years now. The office is full of old ledgers and filing cabinets, though we have a computer now to help with the modern stuff. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in with questions or orders. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a big sign or anything very flashy on the outside. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for decades. The traffic on Sathyamangalam Road can be a real headache during peak hours, making it hard to even cross the street to get some tea. Inside, however, things move at a steadier pace. We take our time to make sure everything is handled correctly. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows what their job is without being told every five minutes. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not a complicated life, but it’s ours, and we are quite content here in Karungalpalayam. We just try to do right by the people who come in.
