Our facility for Indian Tropical Agro Products Pvt Ltd. is tucked away in the Sipcot Industrial Estate at P. O. Box No. 141, right by the Bypass Road in Madathur. It’s a large industrial area, so there are always trucks and workers moving around the estate at all hours. We handle a lot of different agro products here, and the warehouse is usually packed with crates and bags ready for shipping. Being near the bypass road is helpful for the transport side of things, but it also means there is a lot of traffic noise. Inside, the floors are hard concrete and the ceilings are high to keep things relatively cool. We spend most of our time checking the quality of the items that come in from the local farms. The crew here has been together for a long time, and we mostly just get on with the tasks without needing to say much. It’s not a glamorous job, and the work can be quite repetitive when we have large orders to pack. We have a small break area where we sit when the heat gets to be too much. The office side of things is pretty basic—just a few computers and a lot of filing cabinets for the shipping documents. We don't really bother with any fancy signs or advertisements. People in the industrial estate know we are here and what we do.
