Irfan Cement Block

We operate out of Nandra Singote, which is right near the Hindustan Petroleum station. It’s not really an office; it’s more of an open yard where we make and store cement blocks. Most of our work happens outdoors under the sun. It’s heavy, physical work, and everything is covered in a fine layer of grey cement dust. We have our casting molds and the mixing area where we prepare the concrete. Once the blocks are made, they sit out to dry and harden in long rows. You’ll see trucks coming in to load up for various construction sites nearby. It’s a noisy place when the mixer is running. Since we are near the petrol pump, there are always vehicles passing by. It’s a very simple setup with a small shed for when it rains or for keeping some basic tools. My clothes are always dirty by the time I head home. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. People see our stacks of blocks from the road and stop by to ask about prices. It’s an honest way to make a living. We just focus on making blocks that are solid and won't break when you build a wall with them. It’s hard on the back and the hands, but there’s a certain rhythm to the work.
