Tulshi Wire Netting Works

We are located in Village Beraberi, right near the Gangadharpur Bazar. It’s a rural area, so life moves a bit differently here than in the big towns. Our workshop is where we make all the wire netting. You can hear the sound of the metal being worked from down the road. It’s a hands-on kind of place. The air smells like iron and sometimes like the fields outside when the wind blows the right way. We have a small crew of people from the village who come in every day. The office part is just a small room with a desk and a few stools. We keep our records in simple notebooks. People from the market often drop by to see what we’ve got or to place an order. It’s a dusty job, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We don’t have air conditioning, so we just leave the doors open to catch the breeze. When the harvest season comes, things slow down a bit because everyone is busy in the fields. We don't mind. It’s just the way things are in Beraberi. We take pride in just making things that last, even if we don't say it out loud. It’s a simple life, making wire mesh and talking to the neighbors. We close up when the sun goes down and head back to our homes nearby. The walk home is very peaceful.
