Steel Craft

Our shop, Steel Craft, is over in Anatola Sarai. We’re really close to the railway station, so you can hear the trains passing by all day long. It’s a bit of an old area, and the building reflects that. We do a lot of metalwork here, mostly things people need for their houses or small local projects. It isn't a high-tech facility by any means. We have our tools, our benches, and enough space to get the welding done. The floor is usually covered in scrap pieces and dust from grinding. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website that we keep updated. Most people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s just us working with our hands every day. Sometimes the heat from the torches makes the shop really warm, but we just open the big doors to let the air in from the street. Working near the station means there’s always a lot of movement outside, which makes the day go by faster. We don’t make a big deal out of what we do. We just take the measurements, cut the steel, and put it together. It’s hard work, and our clothes usually have a few holes from sparks, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in Anatola Sarai for a while, and we like being part of the noise and the local community here.
