Our office is on Rajagopalachari Street over in Governerpet. It’s an older part of town with a lot of character and narrow streets that get quite busy. We do marketing, but not the fancy kind you see on TV. We mostly work with local products and try to get them into the hands of people who need them. It involves a lot of phone calls and keeping track of inventory in our small back room. The building we’re in has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and the rent is fair. We spend our days talking to vendors and trying to figure out the best way to move goods around the city. Governerpet is a central location, so it makes it easier for us to get to different parts of town. Our team is just a handful of folks who know the area well. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby, you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. Sometimes the street gets blocked by delivery trucks, so we have to carry boxes a long way. It’s part of the job and we don't complain much about it. We’ve been at this for a few years now and have built up a decent network of contacts. We don't make big promises, we just try to be reliable and do what we said we would do. It’s a simple way to run a business and it works for us. Most days we eat lunch together at the desk.
