Br Hardware And Ply Center is on House-38, Vindhya Road in Waidhan. We are situated quite close to the Vijaya Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are out running errands. Dealing with hardware and plywood is heavy work, and most of our day is spent moving large sheets of wood or counting out boxes of screws and hinges. The air in here always has a bit of sawdust floating around, even though we try to sweep up every evening. Our shop is basically a big warehouse with a small counter at the front where we talk to people. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have piles of ply leaning against the walls and stacks of metal tools everywhere you look. My brother and I run the place, and we don't really have any formal titles or anything like that. We just do whatever needs doing, whether it’s unloading a truck or helping someone pick out the right size of board for a table. Vindhya Road is a busy spot, and we get a lot of people coming in who are working on their own homes. We don't have any big advertisements, we just rely on being here every day and knowing what we have in stock. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day.
