We are located right on National Highway-75 in the Deosar area. Being so close to the petrol pump means there is always a lot of noise from the big trucks passing by. It is a very busy stretch of road. We handle a bit of everything here as traders. The shop is in the Khobha part of town, which falls under the Janpad Panchayat. It gets quite dusty because of all the heavy traffic on the highway. We spend a lot of time cleaning the front area so the goods do not look too messy for people stopping by. People traveling through often pull over just because we are easy to spot from the main road. We also deal with a lot of the locals from across the Singrauli district. The work involves a lot of lifting and moving things around. We have crates stacked up in the back and near the entrance most of the time. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it rains suddenly and we have to move everything inside the doors quickly. We do not have a big team, just a few of us managing the sales and the stock. It is a long day, usually starting very early before the sun gets too high and makes it too hot to work. We keep a simple ledger for all the transactions. It is straightforward work. We do not have any fancy displays. You just get what you need.
