You’ll find us right on GST Road, number 1/83, in Singaperumal Koil. We’ve been here in Kancheepuram for quite some time now. M M A Hardwares is your typical local hardware store. We have shelves filled with tools, nails, plumbing bits, and all sorts of things people need for their homes. It’s a bit of a jumble sometimes, but we usually know where everything is. If someone needs a specific bolt or a particular wrench, they usually come to us first. The road outside is always busy with trucks and buses going past. It gets pretty loud, especially in the mornings. We open the shutters early to catch the contractors before they head to their job sites. It’s a family-run kind of place. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a practical shop for practical people. Sometimes we have to order things in if they aren't on the shelf, and that takes a few days. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who live nearby. We’ve seen Singaperumal Koil grow quite a bit over the years. We’re just glad to still be here on the corner. It’s a simple life, selling hardware and talking to the people who walk through the door.
