Mazo Konkan

Mazo Konkan is based in Wargaon, which is part of Kankavli. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We don’t have a massive warehouse or a fleet of trucks. It is just a small operation where we handle things locally. Most of our days are spent dealing with whatever products or projects are on the schedule for that week. Since we are in the Konkan region, the weather really dictates how much work we get done. When the monsoon hits, everything slows down and we spend a lot of time just making sure everything stays dry inside the building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't really had the time to stop and do it. We know most of the people who live around here, so work feels more like a community thing than a business. We don't have a website that works properly, and we mostly just talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. It’s the kind of place where you can just stop by and have a chat if we aren't too busy with a delivery. We try to keep things organized, but there is usually a stack of crates or boxes in the way. It’s just how we run things in Wargaon. It’s simple and it works for us.
