You can find Shree Swami Samarth Foods right on the Main Road in Kundal. It’s a good spot because everyone passes by here at some point in the day. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We focus on traditional snacks and food items that have been around for generations. I took over this place from my father, and he learned it from his. We haven't changed much of the way we do things because the old ways still work fine. We use a lot of local ingredients, and we try to get them fresh every morning from the market down the road. The front of the shop has a big glass counter where we show what we’ve made that day. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people who walk in. Some are just looking, others have been coming here for twenty years. We don't use any fancy packaging or big labels. We just wrap things up in paper or simple bags. It gets hot in the kitchen area, especially in the summer, but we’re used to it. The Main Road can be quite dusty with all the traffic, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and the counters. We’re just a small family business trying to do things the right way. No big plans, just keeping the traditions going and serving the people who live in Kundal. It’s simple and honest and it keeps us going.
