Shivam Traders

Shivam Traders is a small operation located in the village of Shiroda. We are part of the Vengurla taluka, and our shop is very close to the Union Bank. In a village like this, everyone knows where everything is anyway, so we don't need a lot of signs. We deal with whatever goods are needed by the people in the area. It’s a quiet life compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough throughout the week. The pace of work depends on the season and who is coming into town. We open up early and usually sit out front for a bit before the day really starts to get going. You can see the people going to the bank or just heading to the market from our doorway. We've lived and worked in Shiroda for our whole lives. It’s a tight community. Our shop is simple—just a place to store our stock and meet with people who need to buy things. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to folks face to face like people used to do. Sometimes the power goes out for hours, or the heavy rain makes it hard for people to travel on the roads, so we just take things as they come. It’s honest work. We aren't looking to grow into some huge corporation. We just want to provide what the village needs and keep the business going. If you're near the Union Bank, you’ll see us right there.
