Our place is out on Plot No 59/1 in Piparia. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty to look at, but it works for what we do. We work with different kinds of smells and oils. You can usually tell you’re getting close to our building before you even see the sign because of the scents hanging in the air. Sometimes it’s citrusy, other days it’s something else entirely. We’ve been here at Piparia for a few years. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but the space is good for the mixing vats and the storage barrels. We have a small crew. Most of the guys have been with us since the start. We don't really do much advertising; people just know where we are. Dealing with aromas is tricky business because the humidity can mess things up. We spend a lot of time checking the seals on the containers. It's not glamorous work, mostly just pouring and measuring things out carefully. The floor is usually a bit sticky, no matter how much we sweep it. We just keep our heads down and get the orders filled. It’s a steady pace here. Nothing too crazy happens, just the usual daily routine of blending and packing. Every day brings a different batch to finish. It keeps us busy and the air smelling interesting.
