Uxima Foundation

Our office is located at Flat No 602 in Building J-1 of Pramukh Gardens. It is right on Amli Road, which stays pretty busy most of the time. Being up on the sixth floor means we are away from some of the street noise, which helps us get things done. We started this foundation with just a small idea and this flat was the first place we found that fit our budget. It’s got a few rooms that we’ve turned into workspace. We have some plants on the balcony that we try to keep alive, though we forget to water them sometimes. The building is part of a larger complex, so we see our neighbors coming and going all day. It feels like a community. We don't have any corporate branding on the walls or anything like that. It is mostly just shelves filled with books and papers we need for our work. Every morning starts with a quick talk about what needs to happen by evening. We do our own coffee and snacks in the small kitchen area. Amli Road is a good location because it’s easy to get to other parts of town from here. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just keeping the foundation running one day at a time. It is a quiet, steady kind of work and we are happy with the space we have.
