We are located right by the main bus stand, so it is always a bit noisy with the buses pulling in and out all day. Being near the transport hub means we see a lot of different people coming through. We handle engineering work, mostly small repairs and custom parts that folks need in a hurry for their machines. The shop is small and usually filled with grease and old machine parts. It is definitely not a place for wearing nice clothes. We wear our work gear and usually have oil on our hands by ten in the morning. People bring in parts from their tractors or local machinery that stopped working for some reason. We take a look, see what is broken, and try to fix it. Sometimes we have to wait for a specific part to arrive from the city, which can take a few days. We do not have a website or any of that. If you need something, you just walk in and talk to us. The bus stand is a big landmark for everyone around here, so we are pretty easy to find. It is a lot of manual labor, standing on our feet and using the lathe. We have been at this for a long time now. It is not a glamorous life, but it is what we know how to do. The tea stall next door keeps us going.
