St George English School

St George English School is up on the first floor of the Green Building in Kilvani. Most people around Silvassa know the spot because the building stands out quite a bit. We spend our days here with the kids, teaching lessons and keeping things organized. It gets a bit noisy during the breaks, but that is just how schools are. The classrooms are basic, nothing too fancy, just desks and boards where the students sit. We’ve been in this part of town for a while now. The walk up the stairs is part of the morning routine for everyone. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons when everyone is leaving, but we manage. We handle all the subjects required for the English medium curriculum. It's mostly about making sure the students show up on time and do their work. The staff room is usually crowded with notebooks that need marking. There isn't a huge playground right here since we are in the building, so we make do with the space we have. Parents come by to talk about grades or just to drop off lunch boxes they forgot. We try to keep things running smoothly, even when it feels a bit chaotic. Silvassa has changed a lot, but the school stays pretty much the same year after year. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure the bells ring on time. It is a regular place for learning.
