SILVASSA GRAMIN VIKAS NIDHI LIMITED

We are tucked away in the Tirupati Residency, specifically in unit A-407. It is right near the Balaji Mandir at the Amli Char Rasta. If you know that intersection in Silvassa, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic and people going to the temple. Being up in the residency is a bit quieter than being right on the street though. We started this place to help out with local savings and small loans for the people living around here. It is not a huge operation, just a few small rooms where we keep the records and meet with our members. The elevator in the building is a bit slow and makes a weird noise sometimes, so most of us just take the stairs to get to the fourth floor. We are not looking to become some giant company with thousands of branches. We just like working with the local community here in Amli. Most of our members are people we see at the temple or the local grocery shops every day. It makes the work feel a lot more personal than a regular job. We spend a lot of time double-checking the numbers on the accounts because we want everything to be right for our neighbors. It is a lot of sitting and typing, but we take breaks to watch the busy traffic from the small balcony. We do not use any fancy words or make big promises. We just help people.
