Balaji Industries

Balaji Industries is situated over at Plot No. 90-91 in the Manik Estate Danudyog Sahkari, Piparia, Silvassa. It’s a large enough space for what we do, and being in Piparia means we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. The estate is quite crowded, and finding a parking spot near our gate can be a real pain some mornings. We have a shed that houses all our fabrication tools and supplies. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once, so we all use earplugs. The office part is just a partitioned corner where we keep the ledger books and the phone. We don't use much fancy technology, just the stuff that actually helps us get the work out the door. The guys on the floor are the ones who really know how everything works. We’ve had the same crew for a while, and we just get on with the job. Silvassa is a humid place, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade during the lunch hour. We don’t have a big corporate story. We just bought the plot, set up the machines, and started taking orders. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch, but that’s just part of the deal when you run a place like this. It's tough work but it's what we know how to do best.
