Padma Travels

You’ll find us at 11/12 Indra Prashtha Arvade. It’s a modest little spot where we run Padma Travels. We don’t have any of those big fancy maps on the wall or a fleet of private jets. It’s mostly just us, a few computers, and several notebooks where we keep track of bookings. Most of our day is spent talking to people about where they need to go and how they’re going to get there. Whether it’s a bus ticket or a car for the weekend, we just look up the times and see what’s available. The office gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, and the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve been in this building for a while, so the walls have some scuffs and the floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic. We know the local routes well and can usually tell someone how long it’ll actually take to get somewhere, regardless of what the official schedule says. Dealing with traffic and cancellations is just part of the job, and it can be frustrating, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just helping people get to their destination without a lot of fuss. When the sun goes down, we finish our last entries and head home like everyone else.
