Lords Resort

We are located right on Kakad Faliya Road. It’s a bit away from the main noise of the town, which is why people come out this way. We call it a resort, but it’s really just a place where we have some rooms and a bit of space for people to relax. It’s not one of those fancy five-star places with gold handles on the doors. We keep things pretty basic. The gardens need a bit of weeding sometimes, and the paint might be peeling in a corner or two, but it’s comfortable enough. We’ve got a small staff of local people who help with the cleaning and the cooking. The food is just regular home-style stuff, nothing you’d find in a gourmet magazine. We started this place because we had the land and figured people might want a quiet spot to stay. It’s mostly families who come through, or people looking to get away for a weekend. The road outside isn't the best, so you have to drive slow, but it’s a nice enough drive. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch talking to guests or just watching the birds. It’s a slow pace of life here. We don't have a lot of rules, just ask that people are respectful. It’s just us running the place as best as we can. We usually have fresh tea ready for whoever arrives in the afternoon.
