We are tucked away in the Khutli area of Khanvel, which is part of Silvassa. Our address is simply number 5. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where the actual industrial work happens. We make moulds here, so the sound of machinery is pretty much the background noise of our lives every day. It’s a dusty job, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of material or metal scraps. We don't have a paved driveway or anything like that. It is just a functional building where we get things done. The workers here have been around for a long time and they know the machines better than anyone else. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or marketing. Most people who need our services already know where we are. The air in Silvassa can be heavy, especially in the rainy season, and the roof sometimes leaks a bit if the storm is bad enough. We just put a bucket under it and keep on working. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't have many visitors, so we don't worry too much about having a clean lobby or a nice reception. There’s a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action is on the shop floor where the moulds are made. We just try to make items that work and get them shipped out to whoever ordered them.
