Laxmi Foods

Our place is D-1 at Tirupati Residency in Amli. We are very close to the Balaji Temple, so we hear the bells and see the crowds all the time. Laxmi Foods is basically about getting food ready for people. We spend a lot of our time in the back working on whatever needs to be packed or sorted. The residency is a nice enough spot but it gets busy because of the temple traffic nearby. We started out small and we are still not a big operation. It is mostly just a few of us making sure the quality is okay and the orders go out when they should. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the narrow streets around here. We don't have a big fancy office. There is just a desk and a lot of storage space for the food products. You can smell whatever we are working on from the hallway sometimes. People in the building know us well and sometimes drop by just to say hello. It is a simple life running a food business. We have to keep things clean and follow the rules, which takes up a lot of our time. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and checking labels. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. It is quiet in the mornings before the sun gets too high.
