We are based at Gala No. 1 in the Natraj Indl. Estate. Our work is all about transformers and keeping them running. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. There’s a lot of copper wire and oil involved. The gala is a bit small for the size of some of the equipment we handle, so things get tight. We spend a lot of time winding coils and checking connections. It’s the kind of work that requires a bit of patience. The estate is always busy with trucks coming in and out. Sometimes it takes forever just to get a delivery vehicle to the door. We don't have a fancy office upstairs, just a small corner with a desk and some old ledgers. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor. We've been doing this for years, and we've seen all kinds of old transformers that need a lot of help. We drink tea from the stall at the corner of the estate twice a day. It’s a bit of a routine for us. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to do our job well so the electricity keeps flowing where it’s needed. Sometimes we work through the weekend if there’s an emergency repair. It’s just how this business works. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down, focusing on one job at a time. It’s just the usual day-to-day for us here in the estate.
