Our factory is based in Silvassa, specifically in Village Dadra. We are really close to the Dadra Check Post at Survey 204/1/2. Being near the check post means we see a lot of trucks coming and going all the time. Parekh Aluminex Ltd. deals with aluminum, as the name suggests. It’s heavy work and the metal can be sharp, so we are always reminding everyone to be careful. The warehouse is big and can get quite chilly in the mornings before the sun hits the metal walls. We’ve been here for a long time now. People in Dadra know us. We don't put out a lot of brochures or anything like that. The work speaks for itself when the trucks leave the gate. Sometimes the logistics of getting things moved through the check post can be a headache, but we’re used to it by now. The office part of the building is just a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We prefer being out where the action is. It's interesting to see the raw metal turn into something useful. We have a solid team of people who know how to handle the equipment. It’s not a perfect place, it’s noisy and dusty, but it’s ours. We just keep plugging away at it day after day. It's just a normal factory doing what it does best.
