Hindalco Industries Ltd.

Being out here in Village-khutli, near Silvassa, feels a bit different than the big city plants. It’s a bit of a drive to get out to Taluka-khanvel, but we’ve been here at Hindalco Industries Ltd for a good while. The landscape around us is actually quite nice, even if we spend most of our time inside the facility. We’ve got a lot of local people working with us, folks who have lived in Dadra Nagar Haveli their whole lives. The work itself is steady. We deal with various industrial processes, and there's always a bit of dust and noise, which is expected. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a bit chaotic with the logistics. The weather here in Silvassa can be really humid, so we go through a lot of water and try to keep the ventilation going. We don’t really have a front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. If you need someone, you usually have to find them near the production lines. It’s a practical setup. We’ve got some heavy machinery that requires a lot of attention, and we spend a lot of our time making sure everything is maintained properly. It isn't a high-tech looking office building; it’s a functional site meant for hard work. Most of us just want to get through the shift and make sure the quality of what we're producing is decent enough.
