About Ale Cans Mfg Co – Packaging Machines & Materials in Silvassa
Our spot is Gala No. 4A in the Dadra Industrial Estate, and it’s usually quite loud inside. If you walk through the estate, you can hear the machines running from a distance. We spend most of our hours around the presses and the metal sheets. Making cans isn’t exactly a quiet business, and there’s always a bit of grease on the floor no matter how much we sweep. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about where we stack the finished products. The morning shift starts early when the air is still a bit cool. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. Usually, the door is just rolled up so the air can circulate while we work. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they know the sound the machines make when something needs a bit of oil. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out of the estate, so getting things loaded can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. Most of the time, we’re just focused on hitting the numbers for the day. Dadra is a busy place for manufacturing, and we are just one of the many units trying to stay on top of our orders. It feels good when a big batch is finally packed and ready to go out. We take our breaks outside on the step because the metal inside stays warm for a long time after the machines shut down.
