Medi Closures

Medi Closures is out in the Aninagar Industrial Estate at plot C-5, located on 66 Kva Road in Amli, Silvassa. Being in Silvassa, we are surrounded by a lot of other manufacturing units, so the whole area has that industrial feel to it. Our facility focuses on making closures, which are basically the caps and seals you see on medical bottles and containers. It is a very technical job, even though the parts we make are quite small. Inside the building, the machines are running most of the time, creating a steady hum that you just get used to after a week of working here. We have to keep things pretty clean because of the type of products we handle, so there is a lot of sweeping and wiping down of surfaces. The road outside, 66 Kva Road, can get quite dusty with all the trucks moving in and out of the estate. We have a small office section at the front where we handle the orders and talk to the people who buy our closures. It is a practical setup designed for production rather than for looks. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations on the walls. Most of the space is taken up by the production lines and the boxes of finished goods waiting to be shipped out. We just focus on keeping the machines running smoothly and making sure every batch is done right before it leaves the estate.
