Galaxy Surfactants Ltd.

The unit for Galaxy Surfactants Ltd. is over at Plot No. 89/1/2, specifically Gala 1 8a inside the Shalimar Ind. Estate in Amli. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out at all hours. Our space is mostly filled with tanks and piping. It can get a bit humid inside because of the processes we run, so we keep the big doors open as much as possible to get a breeze. We deal with surfactants, which basically means we spend our time around a lot of liquid ingredients. It’s not a job for someone who is afraid of getting their boots wet. We have a small team here who monitors the gauges and makes sure everything is flowing where it should. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture; our break area is just a few plastic chairs and a table where we eat our lunch. The work is mostly about following the steps and making sure we don't waste any material. Sometimes the smell can be a bit strong, but you get used to it after a couple of days. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to produce a good batch and make sure the containers are sealed tight before they go on the truck. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Amli, and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
