National Furniture

Our shop, National Furniture, is located at Ambika Park, near Patel Kata on the Vapi Silvassa Road in Lawacha. It’s a long stretch of road that connects the two towns, so we get a lot of trucks and cars zooming past. We mostly deal with beds, chairs, and tables. The shop is filled with the smell of new wood and varnish. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright spotlights. We just have the furniture lined up so people can see what’s available. Most of the time, we’re in the back making adjustments or putting things together. It’s a dusty job, but we enjoy it. We’ve been here in Lawacha for a while and have seen the area grow. People from nearby colonies often stop in to see what we have. We don’t have a big sales team or a catalog. If you like something, you take it home. It’s very straightforward. The weather here can be quite humid, which affects how the wood behaves, so we have to be careful. We just try to provide decent furniture that lasts. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise from the Vapi Silvassa Road. We open early and stay until the evening. There isn't much more to it than that. Just a local furniture shop doing its thing every day.
