Down at Plot No. 4 in the Tirupati Industrial Estate, things usually get moving before the sun is even all the way up. We are tucked away near Survey No. 113/2/4, and if you are not looking closely, you might drive right past the gate. B. M Raj Industries is a busy place, especially on Mondays when the new orders come in. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure the raw materials are where they should be. The floor is usually covered in dust or scraps, depending on what we are running that day. It’s practical work. We don't spend much time sitting in chairs. Most of the staff live nearby, so there’s always some talk about local news or what happened over the weekend while we work. It gets hot in the shed during the afternoons, but we have some fans that help a bit. People stop by to pick up their orders or just to check on how things are progressing. We don't have a receptionist or anything; usually, whoever is closest to the door just goes out to see who it is. We’ve got our routine down, from the first cup of tea to the last machine shutoff in the evening. It’s just a regular industrial unit trying to get the orders out on time without making too much of a fuss about it.
