Raval Diams Llp is located over in Silvassa, specifically in the Ravidarshan Apartment on Sayli Road. We are up on the second floor in Flat No. 301. It is not your typical storefront on the ground level where everyone walks past. Being on the second floor makes things a little quieter, which helps when you are working with diamonds. You have to focus quite a bit when checking stones or dealing with the paperwork that comes with this business. The office has a decent amount of space, but it’s mostly filled with desks and the equipment we need. Silvassa is an interesting place to work, especially around Sayli Road. It feels like things are always growing here. We spend most of our hours looking at small details and making sure everything is counted correctly. It’s a lot of sitting and looking through loupes. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. It's a practical way to run a business without the high costs of a fancy street-level shop. Most of the people who come to see us already know what they are looking for. We don't spend time on big displays or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do, day in and day out, in our little corner of the apartment building.
