Nandini Foods

Our place, Nandini Foods, is tucked away in Marwadi Galli, right near the Ram Mandir here in Tirthpuri. If you’re walking down the lane, you can usually smell whatever we’re working on before you see the door. It’s a tight spot but we manage to get everything done. We handle a lot of different food items, mostly things people need for their daily meals or small gatherings. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone in the kitchen or out front talking to a neighbor. The Marwadi Galli area gets pretty crowded, especially during festival times when everyone is heading toward the Mandir. We see a lot of familiar faces every single day. We don't do anything too fancy, just good, honest food that people around here like to eat. Sometimes the orders get a bit piled up, but we work through them one by one. It’s not a big factory or a supermarket, just a local spot where we make sure the quality is decent. My brother helps with the deliveries when it gets too busy for people to come by themselves. We’ve been in this spot for years and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories. In the mornings, we are busy sorting out the bags of grains and spices. It’s just our way of making a living and being part of the community in Tirthpuri. We keep it simple and try to stay organized.
