Hotel Neel Kamal

Our place is at number 45 on Nanded Road in Bhokar. We are right at Ambedkar Chowk, so you really can’t miss us if you’re in the area. The Maharashtra Gramin Bank is right next door, which is handy for people who need to get cash. Bhokar is a small place, so everyone knows where the hotel is. We’ve been operating here for a long time. The building has some age to it, and you can see that in the floors and the way the doors sound when they close. It’s a busy corner of the street, especially on market days when the farmers come in from the surrounding villages. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make tea and some basic snacks. I usually spend my time talking to the regulars who stop by for a chat. The rooms are basic, just a bed and a fan, and maybe a small TV if it’s one of the bigger ones. We don’t use computer systems for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in a big ledger book on the counter. It’s more personal that way, even if it takes a minute longer to find a name. Life moves a bit slower here compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Most people who stay are here for business in town or just passing through the chowk.
