You can find us at A-45/46 in Bidhan Market. If you’ve ever been to Siliguri, you know how packed this market gets, especially on the weekends. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we’ve been in this specific spot for a while now. The Voom Fashion Clothes isn’t a huge operation, just two units put together where we keep all our different garments. We get all kinds of people coming through, from folks living right here in town to people traveling through to the hills. Siliguri weather is a bit unpredictable, so we try to have a mix of things that work for the heat and the cooler rains. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and trying to find space for new arrivals. It’s not a shiny, polished showroom. It’s a real market shop where things are stacked high and you have to look through the piles to find what you want. We like it that way, though. It feels more natural than those cold, quiet stores in the new buildings. Our neighbors are all running their own shops too, so there’s always a lot of noise and talking going on around us. We just try to keep our head down and make sure we have good stuff for whoever walks in. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
