Our office is on the second floor of Nanak Tower on Sevoke Road in Siliguri. Being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the immediate noise of the street, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. Nanak Tower is a known spot, so it’s not too hard for people to locate us. There is no elevator that is particularly fast, so a lot of people just take the stairs. The office is a functional space with just the basic furniture and equipment we need for our daily operations. It’s not the kind of place with fancy art on the walls or a coffee machine in the corner. We mostly just drink tea from the stall downstairs. The windows look out over the road, which can be quite a sight during rush hour. We have a few desks and some storage for our records. It’s a bit crowded when more than two or three people are in at once, but we manage. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people knowing we are here in the tower. We keep our hours fairly standard and try to get everything finished before the evening traffic gets too bad. It’s just a normal, everyday office where we handle our business without any extra fluff. We stay busy and keep things moving as best as we can.
