We've been up here on the third floor of Janpath House for a while now. If you know the Srilal Market area, you know it gets pretty crowded downstairs, so being up here gives us a bit of a breather. Darjeeling Gardens isn't just a name we picked out of a hat; it’s what we do every day. Dealing with the stuff we handle takes a lot of patience. Some days the lift is acting up, and we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like, but that’s just part of being in this building. The office isn't anything fancy. It's mostly desks, some files, and people trying to get through their lists. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at paperwork. Usually, the morning starts with tea, which feels right given our name. We don’t have some big corporate team. It’s just us here in the market, making sure the orders move along and the plants or products we’re managing are taken care of. Sometimes the street noise from below drifts up, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve seen other shops come and go in the market, but we’re still here on Srth Srilal Market. It’s a busy spot, but it works for what we need. People know where to find us if they need to talk. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
