Satyabrata Roy & Co.

We've been at this spot in New Jalpaiguri for a while now. It's right on Njp Station Road, so you can imagine the noise from the trains and the people rushing to catch their rides. Being in Bhaktinagar is busy, but we've gotten used to the pace over the years. Satyabrata Roy & Co. is just a small outfit, really. We spend most of our mornings sorting through paperwork or talking to folks who drop by. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the job done. Sometimes the rain in Jalpaiguri gets so heavy that we just sit and watch it from the doorway. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but that’s just how it is around here. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. Most days are the same, which isn’t a bad thing. We keep track of our bits and pieces and try to stay organized, even when things get a little hectic during the peak season. There’s always tea being made in the back room somewhere. You won't find anything fancy here, just us working and trying to keep things moving. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we handle. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out. That's life in this part of the world. Anyway, if you're ever walking down towards the station, you'll see our sign. It's been there for years and it’s faded a bit, but it still works for us.
