We are based out of Prakash Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part, though things pick up during the day when the delivery vehicles start arriving. Our space is just a basic setup with some metal shelves and a small counter for anyone who stops by. We handle various supplies and trading tasks throughout the week. It’s mostly just a few of us working here. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the inventory is where it should be on the racks. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to get around to it. We get people from around the neighborhood dropping in occasionally, but most of our work is done over the phone or through messages. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, really. We write things down on paper pads and keep a big calendar on the wall to track everything. The morning usually starts with a bit of cleaning and then checking what needs to go out that day. We don’t have any big slogans or any corporate talk. We just open up the shutters every morning and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a simple business. We've stayed in Prakash Nagar because it’s convenient and we know the other shop owners around here. Sometimes we have tea at the stall next door when things finally slow down.
