M/S Sohini Construction

We are based in Siliguri, West Bengal. This is a busy city and a major gateway for the whole region. Our office here isn't anything elaborate. It is a functional space where we manage our construction projects. Being in India, especially in this part of Bengal, means dealing with all kinds of weather, from heavy rains to humid summers. We just take it as it comes. We have a small crew that has been with us for years. We know the local landscape and how to get things done in this town. Most of our day is spent on the phone or visiting sites nearby. We don't really have a big website or a social media team. We just rely on the work we do. Our desks are usually a bit messy with blueprints and notes. It’s the way we work. We have built a reputation by just showing up and doing the job. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby, which is where we usually end up for our afternoon break. It's a good place to talk shop and plan the next day. We aren't a giant corporation. We are just local builders who know Siliguri inside and out. We appreciate the people who work with us. It’s a straightforward business and we keep it that way. No frills, just building.
