We’ve been here on Shivaji Road in Khalpara for a while now. It’s a busy part of Darjeeling, and things get a bit loud outside sometimes with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the data work we have to do. Most days it’s just us sitting at the desks, typing away or checking over files to make sure everything looks right on the screens. There isn't much to say about the office itself, it's just a practical space with enough room for our computers and some chairs for people who drop in to see us. We handle a lot of different paperwork and digital stuff that comes through the door. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just how it is around here in the hills, so we have to plan our day around that quite often. People know where to find us because we’re right on the main stretch. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. We just show up, do the entries, and keep things moving as best as we can. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the evening. If you walk past, you'll probably see us through the window just getting on with the day's tasks. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this street over the years. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local spot where the work gets done without a lot of fuss.
