Our office is located on Ramkrishana Mission Road in the Jyoti Nagar part of Siliguri. We are right across from the Sidhi Vinayak Enclave, which makes us easy to spot if you are familiar with the area. It is a pretty basic setup with a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about their plans. Siliguri is always moving, and Jyoti Nagar gets its fair share of that energy. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking on train schedules and bus timings. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just making sure people get from one place to another without too much trouble. The office has a lot of maps and printed papers stuck to the walls. We have been in this spot for some time now. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Mission Road. Other days, like during the holiday seasons, it gets really hectic and the phone never stops ringing. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It is just a few of us trying to keep things organized. If someone needs a car for the hills or a ticket to Kolkata, we do what we can to help them out. The door is usually open to let in a bit of air, even if it brings in some of the street dust.
